Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson's brother and mother were shot to death, but while investigating that incident, they are also trying to find out where her 7 year old nephew is. Julian went missing Friday afternoon.

They said they found him in an SUV on the South Side of Chicago, who is identified as, Julian King. It was Jennifer that was to announce the body being her nephew. It did turn out to be him, and he was also shot. The SUV belonged to Jason Hudson on the 1300 block of S. Kolin Avenue on Chicago's South Side at around 8 AM on Monday.

William Balfour is a suspect in this tragedy. William is Julian's step dad and he was suppose to be with him at the time of his disappearance.

It's a really hard time for the family right now, and really sad. I feel very sadden for the family, and hope they regain the strength they may have lost.

Selective Mutism

Selective mutism, is a disorder that happens when you are young. From one, who experienced this "disorder" I was shy around people I did not know. When I came home from school, I was back to my normal self, loud and obnoxious.

It is a social anxiety disorder that causes people to not be able to speak in situations or people. Like me, a child with selective mutism could go to school for years without talking to anyone. I remember not talking to anyone from preschool to about first grade. I would not talk to the teachers or any of my class mates.

If you think that you once had selective mutism, or your son of daughter has it, these are some characterized by:
1. Consistent failure to speak in specific social situations
2. The disturbance interferes with educational or occupational achievement or with social communication.
3. The duration of the disturbance is at least 1 month (not limited to the first month of school).
4. The failure to speak is not due to a lack of knowledge of, or comfort with, the spoken language required in the social situation.
5. The disturbance is not better accounted for by a communication disorder (e.g., stuttering) and does not occur exclusively during the course of a pervasive developmental disorder, schizophrenia, or other psychotic disorder.

Typical sufferers have some of the following traits, some of which are often perceived as rudeness:
A difficulty in maintaining eye contact
A reluctance to smile and a tendency to have a blank facial expression
Stiff, awkward body movements
Particular anxiety in situations where speech is normally expected (answering school registers, saying hello, goodbye, thank you, etc.)
A tendency to worry about things more than other people, sometimes Generalized Anxiety Disorder
A sensitivity to noise and crowds or crowded situations
Difficulty with verbal and non-verbal expression
Frequent temper tantrums at home
Fear of using public restrooms
Compulsive traits, even Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Clinging behavior

Effective treatment is necessary for a child to develop properly. Without treatment, Selective Mutism can contribute to chronic depression and other social and emotional problems.

SAW V

Saw V is coming out October 24, 2008. The movie is not being directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, but instead by David Hackl, who was the production designer of Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV, as well as a second-unit director for Saw III and Saw IV.

Lionsgate recently released a brief plot synopsis for Saw V that "Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends."

The AMC Loews theater is showing all Saw movies starting at 4 for only 15 dollars! The movies will end around 2 in the morning.
I can't wait for this movie to come out.

Where's Caylee?

All over the news its been an issue of finding, three year old Caylee Anthony. Who was reportedly missing after a month, while her mother said to be looking for her, but did not contact any police. Casey Anthony is a suspect of the death of the three year old. Casey's own mother called her a sociopath and a liar.

The grandmother, Cindy Anthony hadn't seen her granddaughter for days when she smelled the foul smell of a "dead body" coming from Casey's car. Chloroform was even found in Casey's car. Chloroform was developed in the mid-1800s and was mainly used as an anesthetic. Inhaling chloroform vapors depresses the central nervous system of a patient, causing dizziness, fatigue and unconsciousness, allowing a doctor to perform simple surgery or other otherwise painful operations.

For some reason Casey had a bottle of Chloroform in her car, but why? On top of that she had done research about the Chloroform via computer. I believe that Casey killed her daughter, she doesn't even seem to care, shes at clubs and partying, not even grieving like a normal person. There are pictures posted all over the Internet of her partying, why isn't she more serious that her daughter is missing?
