Doesn't Know Real Age

Akon says his age is still a mystery and wants to keep it that way. For some reason, we don't know Akon wants to keep this age a secret. To me this sound a little bizarre, but most rappers are a little nut so. Why does it matter so much about your age anyways, when in 2006 he gave his age out as 25, but it is stated on his birth certicate that he was born April, 16, 1977 which would make him 31.

He says he never knew this for the fact that he moved from Senegal, and was not aware. It makes him depressed knowing that hes a lot older then he really is. Most people just think hes trying to push back his age to make him seem a lot younger then he is.

In my opinion I think this is the stupidest thing ever, not knowing how old you really are its idiotic to me. Even so you are your age you can't do anything about when you were born. People should be so dramatic about it, its just dumb. Akon is really young and he shouldn't have a problem with being 31, if he has a problem with that just waits till hes 41, 51. Hes going to have a nervous breakdown.
